G Chord — Privacy Policy
G Chord ("the app") is a worship chord sheet and setlist tool. This policy describes what data the app collects, why, and how to remove it.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google or Apple) profile photo URL. Used solely to identify your account and let you sign in.
- Your songs and setlists — the chord sheets, titles, keys, and setlists you create. Stored on your device, and (if you join a team) in Google Firestore so other team members can sync.
- Team membership — the team you belong to and the team code, so we can scope cloud sync to your band.
- Diagnostics — basic crash and performance data from Firebase, used only to detect bugs.
What we do not collect
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- We do not run third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We do not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone, or any device sensors.
Where your data lives
Songs and setlists you create are stored locally on your device by default. If you sign in and join a team, an additional copy is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore + Authentication), used purely to sync between your team's devices. Firebase is operated by Google under their own privacy terms.
Deleting your data
You can sign out at any time from the Account screen. To permanently delete your account and the data associated with it, email rob24in@gmail.com and we will remove your user record and any team data you own.
Children
G Chord is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and surface the change in-app on next launch.
